We found and paid for a beautiful dresser at this location on a Saturday. I took off work and came back four days later with a UHaul to pick up my furniture and they had sold it to someone else. I spent $150 on rental, mileage, and gas on a truck for no reason. Normally I would be more understanding, but the store manager Gail was very unhelpful and rude to us. Gail was incredibly rude and unresponsive in regards to how much their store had inconvenienced and cost us. She refused to give us any sort of help or compensation. I asked for a discount coupon for next time since I was now out $150 and a day's work because of her store, and her response was, "Well, we're a non-profit, so..." Then when my girlfriend asked if she could at least keep an eye out for a replacement for us since we live 45 minutes away, she said, "We don't typically do that." You probably don't typically screw over your customers either, but this isn't a typical situation. We liked shopping here because they have a good selection and we don't have much money to spend on furniture, but since Gail seems to be more interested in saying she works for Habitat for Humanity than actually being a humanitarian, we won't be returning. Gail, get out of customer service. You are bad at it and it does not suit you. Ben, the other store manager, was great, by the way.
